Who we are
United Movers of America (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a moving and trucking company based in Clifton, New Jersey, serving New Jersey and the New York metro area for local and long-distance moves. This policy explains what information this website collects, what we do with it, and how to reach us about it.
It covers this website only. Information you give us over the phone, by email, or in person during a move is handled the same way in spirit, but it is governed by your moving paperwork and by law rather than by this page.

What this website does
This site does two things: it lets you send us details about your move so we can get back to you with an estimate, and it links you to your customer portal if you are already booked with us.
This website does not take payments. There is no checkout, no card form, and no place on this site to enter a credit card, debit card, or bank account. We do not collect payment information through this website. You do not need an account to browse the site.

Information we collect
When you use the quote or contact form, we collect what you choose to type into it — typically your name, phone number, email address, move date, the addresses or towns you are moving from and to, the size of your home or the items involved, and any notes you add. Please only include what we need to quote the job.
Like any website, our host also records ordinary technical information automatically — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — to serve the site, keep it up, and protect it from abuse.
Your quote request reaches us as an email. If we go on to work together, we record the details of your job in the software we use to schedule and run our moves, so that we can prepare your estimate and dispatch the crew.

How we use it
We use what you send us to respond to you and to do the work — to price the move, ask follow-up questions, confirm dates and addresses, schedule the crew and the truck, and keep in touch with you before, during, and after moving day.
If you become a customer, we may also contact you about your own move or a follow-up service. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing, and we do not build advertising profiles.

How we share it
We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Moving is a business where people hand you their address and their belongings; that trust is the whole job.
We share only what is necessary, and only with:
- Our crew and drivers — the people performing your move need your addresses, contact number, and inventory notes to do it.
- Partners on a long-distance move — if your move involves another carrier, a partner agent at destination, a storage facility, or a subcontracted driver, we pass along only the details required to complete the job.
- Service providers — the vendors who host this website, deliver our email, and run our scheduling and estimating software, under a duty of confidentiality.
- Where the law requires it — for example a lawful request from a regulator, a court order, or where records must be produced in connection with a claim.

Your customer portal
Booked customers can sign in to a portal to see their job details. That portal is a separate application hosted at app.justmoving.ai, not part of this website. When you follow that link you leave this site and use that service, which has its own sign-in and its own terms and privacy practices.
Please keep your portal credentials to yourself, and tell us right away if you think someone else has gained access to your account.

Cookies and tracking
This website is deliberately lightweight. It does not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, ad pixels, or session recording, and it does not sell data to advertisers. Because nothing here is following you around, there is no cookie banner to dismiss.
Our host may set a strictly necessary cookie, keep a security log, or count page views in aggregate to keep the site running, defend it from attack, and know whether the site is working. That counting does not identify you, does not follow you to other websites, and is not sold to anyone. If we ever add anything beyond that, we will say so here first.

How long we keep it
If you ask for a quote and never book, we keep your request only as long as it is useful to follow up, and then we delete it.
If you become a customer, we keep the normal business record of your move — your estimate, your paperwork, and your invoice — for as long as the law requires us to be able to produce it, and then we delete it.

Security
This site is served over encrypted HTTPS, and we limit access to your information to the people who need it to do your move. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security — but we take it seriously and we do not ask you for information we do not need.
We will never ask you for a password, a full bank account number, or a Social Security number by email or text. If you get a message like that claiming to be from us, do not answer it — call us at 908-764-2721.

Your choices and rights
You can contact us at any time to ask what we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email americanmovingusa@gmail.com or call 908-764-2721 and we will honor reasonable requests as far as the law allows — we may have to keep records tied to a completed move or an open claim.
You can also ask us to stop contacting you, and we will. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law; tell us and we will treat your request under that law.

Children’s privacy
This website is meant for adults arranging a move. It is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites
This website links to places we do not control — the customer portal and public resources such as the federal government’s moving-consumer pages. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and this policy does not apply once you leave.

Where we operate
We are a New Jersey moving business serving New Jersey and the New York metro area, and this website is intended for visitors in the United States. If you reach it from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will make it obvious rather than bury it.
