This is the website of United Movers of America (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a moving and trucking company in Clifton, New Jersey. By using this website you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site — you are always welcome to just call us at 908-764-2721 instead.

What this website is

This website is here to tell you what we do and let you ask us for an estimate, and to give existing customers a link into their own job portal. Everything on it is general information. Nothing on this website is an offer, a contract, or a guarantee of availability on any particular date.

Estimates are not binding

Any figure, range, or description you receive as a result of contacting us through this website is preliminary. It is based on what you told us, and it is not a binding quote and not a contract.

A real price comes after we understand the job — the inventory, the access at both ends, the stairs, the elevator, the parking, the walk from the door to the truck, and the date. Cost, crew size, truck size, and timing can change once the job is actually surveyed or once conditions at the address turn out to be different from what was described.

Your moving paperwork controls

When you book a move, you receive and sign the paperwork that actually governs the job — the written estimate and the documents required for the type of move you are making. That paperwork, together with applicable federal and New Jersey law, controls your move. Where anything on this website appears to conflict with it, your signed paperwork wins.

That paperwork is also where deposits, payment terms, cancellation and rescheduling rules, valuation and liability coverage, and delivery windows are set out. Read it, and ask us about anything that is not clear before you sign it.

No payments on this site

This website does not accept payments. There is no checkout and no card form on it. If you ever see a page claiming to be us and asking for a card number, a wire, a gift card, or a cryptocurrency payment, it is not us — stop and call 908-764-2721.

The customer portal

If you are booked with us, you can sign in to a customer portal to see your job. That portal is a separate application at app.justmoving.ai with its own sign-in and its own terms; following the link takes you off this website.

Access is for your own move. Keep your credentials to yourself, do not share your login, and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gotten into your account. We may suspend access we believe is being misused.

Service area and availability

We handle local and long-distance moving and trucking out of Clifton, New Jersey, serving New Jersey and the New York metro area. Towns and areas named on this site describe where we generally work — they are not a promise that we can take a specific job on a specific date. Availability is confirmed only when we confirm it with you directly.

Loss or damage claims

If something goes wrong on a move, call us first — most things get sorted out fastest that way. Formally, claims for loss or damage are handled under the terms of your signed moving paperwork, the coverage you selected, and applicable law. They are not made through this website, and nothing on this page shortens, extends, or replaces the claim rights and time limits in your moving paperwork or under the law.

Acceptable use

Use this site for its purpose. Please do not attempt to break into it, scrape it in bulk, overload it, submit false or automated inquiries, impersonate someone else, or use our name, wording, or images to advertise another company.

Our content

The text, layout, design, and graphics on this website belong to United Movers of America or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. Please do not copy or republish them without our written permission. Our company name and logo may not be used in a way that suggests we endorse or are affiliated with something we are not.

The site is provided “as is”

This website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We work to keep it accurate and online, but we make no warranty of any kind, express or implied, that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or current at every moment. Use of the site is at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, this website, or from errors or omissions in its content.

This section is about the website only. It does not limit, waive, or affect our responsibilities as a mover under your signed moving contract or under federal and New Jersey law.

Links to other sites

Where we link out — to the customer portal, or to public consumer resources about choosing a mover — we do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices. The links are there because they are useful, not as an endorsement.

Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute about this website will be handled in the courts located in New Jersey. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
